The popular PAW Patrol spin-off series, Rubble and Crew, is set to join Netflix in the United States this December. Starting December 9, 2024, the full first season, featuring 26 episodes split into 49 segments, will be available on the platform. This addition marks an exciting expansion, as the show is already streaming on Paramount+ and currently airs on Nickelodeon in the U.S.
From Police to Construction Crew
Rubble and Crew, which first aired in January 2023, brings a fresh twist to the original PAW Patrol storyline. Instead of focusing on rescue missions, this spin-off follows Rubble and his team as they take on various construction projects. With a crew that includes Luxton Handspiker, Alessandro Pugiotto, Shazdeh Kapedia, and Alberta Bolan, the show has resonated with young audiences as it progresses into its second season.
Netflix Expansion Beyond Canada
The show’s U.S. Netflix debut follows its addition to Netflix Canada in late September 2024, where it has been a top-ranking kids’ series on the platform, holding a spot in the Kids TV top 10 for 47 consecutive days, according to FlixPatrol. It’s unclear if or when Netflix will release Rubble and Crew in additional countries.
Why Netflix US Matters for Rubble and Crew
The addition of Rubble and Crew to Netflix US is noteworthy. PAW Patrol itself isn’t available on Netflix US, making this spin-off’s appearance a unique opportunity for the franchise. Analyst Emily Horgan points out that Netflix’s extensive reach in the US market could help boost the PAW Patrol brand’s visibility and, by extension, its toy sales. According to Horgan, the US is the largest market for toy revenue, so this expansion on Netflix could strengthen Rubble and Crew’s impact.
Horgan added that Rubble and Crew’s appearance on Netflix is a “big deal” for the franchise, suggesting that by expanding beyond Paramount+, the series can reach broader audiences.

More Nickelodeon Titles Coming to Netflix
The move is part of a larger trend of Nickelodeon shows finding a home on Netflix. Just last month, Netflix added three new Nickelodeon titles, including The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish!, which was labeled as a Netflix Original outside the US.
The addition of Rubble and Crew gives young viewers in the US another way to watch this beloved PAW Patrol spin-off, with Netflix providing the chance for even more kids to join Rubble on his construction adventures.
